Prism Whistle-Blower Goes Public

In a development to the on-going news story regarding top secret U.S government program Prism, Edward Snowden has come forward as the insider who leaked the details to The Guardian last week. Prism was tasked with spying on people’s phone conversations as well as online communications. The NSA-run program came under the spotlight last week when an undisclosed whistle-blower revealed just how unsecure people’s online activities actually are. “The NSA has built an infrastructure that allows it to intercept almost everything… If I wanted to see your emails or your wife’s phone, all I have to do is use intercepts. I can get your emails, passwords, phone records, credit cards,” said Snowden from a Hong Kong hotel room where he is currently holed-up. When asked what he thought would happen to him now that he has come forward publically Snowden replied “nothing good.”
