Out of the huge variety of entertainment options, here are some awesome shows that feature work environments that’ll actually make you want to put in some extra hours - at the fictional TV office.
Mad Men
The advertising agency everybody wanted to work for. If you put aside the amazing location of their offices in New York City, the vintage dresses, and the alcohol consumption, the periodic drama manages to insert into its narrative the big moments which shaped American culture in an elegant manner. Throughout the years, the Madison Avenue office was packed with plenty of drama, romance and cigars. If you were a man in the 1960’s you would have most defiantly wanted to work alongside Don Draper. If you were a feminist, you’d be happy to show him you’re just as good as he is.
Suits
Being a top tier New York lawyer is great. Pretending to be one and getting away with it is even better. At Pearson-Specter-Litt, practicing the law is anything but boring! With the budding bromance between lovable fraud Mike Ross and hotshot Harvey Specter – including a never-ending banter filled with movie quotes – who wouldn’t want to be a part of that team? The Office
The original BBC show was so successful that it was purchased and adapted by many other countries, including, of course, the US. The mockumentary sitcom deals with a group of employees who work for a paper company. Viewers follow the sometimes wacky human behavior, the small, and often hilarious, moments of the employees’ daily lives, as well as their inner dramas, and the bizarre office politics - all in the most entertaining way imaginable.
Scandal
We all go to work and experience our share of daily office drama. From time to time we even go through some work-related crises that shack the grounds we stand on. They are the smartest, most manipulative group of people around, and it’s just so much fun to watch their antics unfold.
