An amusing new YouTube video has masterfully inserted the highest paid soccer player in the world into the world of Grand Theft Auto V.
A crossover between FIFA and GTA? It may not be the real deal yet, but a comical fantasy that’s currently going viral is certainly causing gamers worldwide to with it was so. The Real Madrid forward, who is also the highest paid soccer player in the world, features in a new – exceptionally well edited – creation from TheFifa11Videos. In the video, Ronaldo is seen hanging around Los Santos (GTA’s version of Los Angeles) and being his usual cocky self.
So what does the soccer superstar do in the popular video game’s alter-universe? He knocks a motorcyclist on to the road by kicking a football at him, and, of course, steals a car (this is GTA after all). He also takes the stolen vehicle to Los Santos Customs to get it customized - every superstar needs a car with some swagger. A strip club is also on the agenda for Ronaldo on this GTA tour, but the video totally PG-13 if you have any concerns.
GTA V might not need any help with sales, but there’s no doubt this viral video cameo will give the game a major boost. Ronaldo is currently the most valuable soccer player in the world with a whopping $79 million income last year coming from salary, bonus and endorsements. With 102 million Facebook fans and 35 million Twitter followers, he outshines pretty much every athlete out there.
