Sunday 29th March marked a very special day for the staff and senior management of Banc De Binary who participated in the 5K Corporate Race at this year’s Limassol Marathon. We decided to make 2015 our year by not only participating as a team, but actually becoming one of the main sponsors of the event.
As a gold sponsor of Cyprus’ most prestigious sporting event, the Banc De Binary runners had been preparing (and warming up!) for the Marathon for several weeks. There was a palpable sense of enthusiasm in the office as we all stepped up our fitness levels to prepare for the run. Some staff even bypassed the elevator for the office stairs in a bid to increase their stamina!
When the day arrived, the sun was shining bright for us, and we arrived to a spectacular welcome on Limassol’s seafront. Thousands congregated as music and speeches filled the air, fuelling undoubtedly the most highly-charged event of the year in Cyprus….and before you could say ‘on your marks’ they were off!
We are delighted to share our company’s success with the local community and to sponsor the event as part of Banc De Binary’s corporate social responsibility program. We’re also very proud of our amazing team who achieved a star ranking of 42 out of the 155 corporate teams, with an average time of 26.12 minutes. Congratulations to everyone who took part!
