Once you’ve opened your account and have gone to the trading platform, choose from one of BDB’s four, secure, innovative, and award-winning platforms that are explained below. From there, it is a simple 4-step process.

1. Select the asset you wish to trade. BDB offers over 200 global assets to trade, the largest range of assets offered by any binary options broker.
2. Now, enter the expiry time and the amount you wish to trade. The expiration period can range anywhere from 60 seconds to one year, depending on the platform. Single trades can be as little as €1 to as much as €8,000 for regular account members. Keep in mind that you are able to open multiple options and can trade them simultaneously.
3. Then, choose the direction.

Click UP if you think that your chosen asset’s price at the expiry time will be greater than it was when you started the trade. This is a Call option.

Click DOWN if you think that your chosen asset’s price at the expiry time will be less than it was when you started the trade. This is a Put option.

4. Finally, review and approve the trade and wait for your option to expire. You can keep track of how your options are performing under “My Trades.”

If you are correct, then your trade is successful and you will receive a predefined payout as a profit. Trades that expire in-the-money will grant you a return of between 70% – 91% on top of your initial investment. However, if the prediction is incorrect, the investor loses all or most of his/her investment.

5. As our client, you also have a right to use a “buy out” when you feel it is necessary. The “buy out” offers the client the ability to close (sell) an existing position prior to the position’s official expiry time, regardless if the position is “in” or “out of the money”. A client may choose to close his existing position, while the specific option is still tradeable by simply clicking on the “Sell” button. The buy me out/“sell” feature is based on a statistical matrix that measures the asset’s historical price volatility in order to calculate and offer a price for the closing of the client’s position. Using the statistical matrix, the system estimates the position’s probability to end as a Tie (the probability of the asset’s current market price to return to the execution price) given the position strike price distance from the current price and the time left until expiry.

Formula used:

Payout amount = Position amount + ((Position amount * (win payout / 100) * winProbability) – (Position amount * (loss payout / 100) * (1 – winProbability))

What are binary options?
